Maserati Grecale hits German market with full range, including Folgore EV

Italian marque Maserati is making a bold move in Germany, introducing the full lineup of its Grecale SUV — from petrol and hybrid versions to the fully electric Folgore. Backed by flexible leasing offers valid until June 30, 2025, prices start at just €649 per month.

The Grecale is Maserati’s answer to the premium midsize SUV segment, aiming to challenge competitors like the Porsche Macan and BMW X3. It blends Italian elegance with cutting-edge technology and a broad powertrain range. Standing out is the Folgore, Maserati’s first fully electric SUV, offering 557 hp and a WLTP range of up to 501 km.

There are four variants in the lineup. The entry-level GT comes with a 2.0L turbocharged engine (300 hp, 0-100 km/h in 5.6s). The Modena adds a luxury touch with 330 hp, while the performance-focused Trofeo boasts a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 delivering 530 hp and a top speed of 285 km/h. The Folgore offers instant torque, zero emissions, and aligns with Maserati’s plan to go all-electric by 2028.

The launch of Grecale has already boosted Maserati’s global sales by 42% in the first half of the year following its release. Key markets like Germany, the US, and China have shown strong interest. Folgore, in particular, represents Maserati’s dual mission: performance and sustainability. Innovative tech helps retain the brand’s signature sound, ensuring emotional engagement even in electric models.

The leasing deals — in partnership with Stellantis Bank — cover a 48-month term with 10,000 km annually. All Grecale models come with a 5-year warranty and Europe-wide roadside assistance, offering a seamless premium driving experience.
