Audi has pulled the wraps off its latest A6 Sedan, a premium business-class model aimed at setting new benchmarks in design, aerodynamics, and driving experience. With a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.23, cutting-edge driver assistance systems, and mild hybrid technology (MHEV plus), the A6 is positioned not only as a leader among combustion-engine sedans but also as a step toward Audi’s electric future.

On the outside, the A6 boasts a streamlined silhouette, sharp body lines, and signature LED lighting that accentuate its sporty and executive character. Inside, the cabin is designed as a digital lounge: the new panoramic MMI display, an optional passenger screen, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system deliver comfort and premium ambiance. Eco-conscious materials and ambient lighting further enhance the luxury experience.

The suspension setup plays a pivotal role in the A6’s dynamic appeal. Adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering offer agility in tight city corners and stability at highway speeds. Enhanced electronics, including brake-by-wire and torque vectoring, ensure refined control and a safer, more responsive ride.

Three engine options are available, with two of them featuring MHEV plus technology. This system supports the combustion engine by delivering up to 230 Nm of additional torque and up to 18 kW of power during acceleration and overtaking. It also enables partially electric driving in slow traffic and contributes to greater fuel efficiency. During deceleration, the system can recuperate up to 25 kW of energy, further enhancing overall performance without compromising emissions or driving dynamics.

The A6 enters a competitive market landscape. With rivals like the BMW i5 and Mercedes E-Class already refreshed, Audi takes a measured yet forward-looking approach. The upcoming A6 e-tron, unveiled in summer 2024, signals Audi’s commitment to a fully electric lineup by 2033. According to company plans, no new combustion models will launch after 2026.

Deliveries of the new A6 Sedan will begin in summer 2025, starting at €55,500 in Europe. Despite a challenging 2024, the A6 remained one of Audi’s top three bestsellers globally. With this latest version, Audi appears well-equipped to maintain that momentum well into the electric age.
