Bentley has unveiled a striking new Black Edition for the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Flying Spur, combining bold visual enhancements with a cutting-edge hybrid powertrain. The release marks a key milestone in Bentley’s Beyond100+ strategy, emphasizing luxury through innovation and electrification.

At first glance, the Black Edition makes a strong statement. For the first time, Bentley models carry gloss black 'Winged B' badges and lettering. The signature Blackline specification includes a black matrix grille, Beluga front splitter, and gloss black trim, accompanied by 22-inch ten-spoke black alloy wheels. Mandarin orange brake calipers are offered as a no-cost contrast option, and dedicated Black Edition badges highlight the car’s exclusivity.

Inside, details include Black Edition embroidery on the headrests, Piano Black veneers, and custom contrast stitching. Comfort seats, mood lighting, sports pedals, and the Bentley Rotating Display are part of the standard specification. Owners can personalize the interior further, choosing from various accent colors.

Under the hood, the new High Performance Hybrid system combines a 4.0-liter V8 (520 PS) with a 190 PS electric motor, delivering a total of 680 PS and 930 Nm. The Continental GT accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, with the GTC and Flying Spur achieving the same in 3.9 seconds. The electric-only driving range reaches 50 miles (80 km). For the first time outside the Speed range, the Performance Active Chassis is available, enhancing agility and responsiveness across multiple drive modes.

Only 400 units of the Black Edition will be built worldwide. Orders are now open through official Bentley dealerships, such as Bentley Knokke. A selection of accent colors—including Signal Yellow, Hyper Green, and Klein Blue—are available to further customize the car’s look. However, the Black Edition models are not yet listed in the Bentley online configurator as of April.

Bentley confirms this edition is part of its broader shift toward electrification. By 2035, the brand plans to produce only electric vehicles. With Black Edition, Bentley offers a preview of its electrified future, wrapped in a design that speaks volumes about its identity.
