Alfa Romeo marks 115 years with new logo and historic tributes

Alfa Romeo celebrates 115 years with a new logo, honoring its racing milestones and fan community. Discover the iconic events behind the design.
On June 24, 2025, Alfa Romeo turns 115 — not just a number, but a vivid milestone in a journey defined by engineering brilliance and racing valor. To mark the occasion, the brand unveiled a special anniversary logo that fuses history with a forward-looking spirit. The rising diagonal of “115” represents momentum, while the central “5,” embraced by the iconic Biscione, nods to Alfa’s deep-rooted identity.
The timing of the reveal is no coincidence. Around this date, enthusiasts recall Tazio Nuvolari’s iconic win at the 1930 Mille Miglia, where Alfa Romeo not only triumphed but swept the top four spots. Equally celebrated is the 1923 debut of the Quadrifoglio at the Targa Florio, when Ugo Sivocci’s four-leaf clover emblem made its first historic appearance — now a symbol of performance and boldness.
The year 2025 is packed with other anniversaries that deepen the celebrations. Among them: 100 years since the GP Tipo P2’s win in the first World Motor Championship, 75 years since the Alfa 1900 ushered in mass production, and the legendary “Alfetta,” which earned the first F1 world title with Nino Farina. Also commemorated: 70 years since the Giulietta Berlina’s debut, 60 years of the Giulia Sprint GTA, 50 years since the 33 TT 12’s triumph in the World Championship for Makes, and 40 years of the Alfa 75.
The festivities promise to be global and diverse. On June 22, the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese will host “Backstage 2025,” showcasing 115 iconic vehicles spanning the brand’s eras. In September, “Alfas at the Glen” will honor racing heritage in the US, while in Japan, an early tribute already saw visitors receive commemorative Alfa-branded souvenirs. A major highlight is the anticipated unveiling of the new Stelvio SUV — the first European model on the STLA Large platform — also scheduled for this symbolic year.
So far, there is no official confirmation of special edition models or marketing campaigns built around the new logo. Still, Alfa Romeo has distributed it to over 250 clubs worldwide, empowering its global “Alfisti” fanbase to celebrate the milestone in their own way — and to continue nurturing a bond that transcends time, geography, and generations.
