Polestar and The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) have announced the start of a multi-year partnership, with the first chapter unfolding at TEFAF Maastricht 2026. Widely regarded as one of the world’s leading art fairs, TEFAF brings together more than 260 dealers from around 20 countries and spans 7,000 years of art history under one roof. Recent editions have attracted close to and over 50,000 visitors, underscoring its international reach and influence.

In the first year of collaboration, Polestar will serve as the official mobility partner, providing a shuttle service for fair visitors. The cooperation therefore begins on a practical level, aligning sustainable mobility with an event long associated with excellence, connoisseurship and cultural heritage.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the recently launched Polestar 5, the brand’s premium four-door electric performance GT. Built on an 800-volt architecture, the model delivers up to 884 horsepower in its Performance specification (871 hp reported in several publications) and accelerates from 0–62 mph in around 3.2 seconds. The car was presented at IAA Mobility 2025 and represents a flagship step in Polestar’s expansion within the high-performance electric segment.

The partnership with TEFAF continues Polestar’s broader engagement with the art world. The company previously entered a three-year collaboration with the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, which resulted in the interactive installation We Harvest Wind by artist Thijs Biersteker. The project focused on renewable energy and the role of technological innovation in driving environmental awareness.

According to both parties, the cooperation is expected to evolve beyond mobility. From the second year onward, Polestar and TEFAF intend to explore artistic and content-driven initiatives. Against the backdrop of Polestar’s stated sustainability targets — including halving greenhouse gas emissions per vehicle sold by 2030 and achieving climate neutrality across its value chain by 2040 — the alliance signals an effort to position design, innovation and environmental responsibility within a broader cultural dialogue.
