Bentley marked Earth Day by releasing its third annual Sustainability Report, reinforcing the company’s dedication to what it calls “responsible luxury.” The report highlights notable progress within the Beyond100+ strategy — Bentley’s roadmap toward full electrification and carbon neutrality.

In a pivotal step, all current Bentley models are now available with plug-in hybrid powertrains. This isn’t just a transitional phase — it reflects a firm move away from internal combustion. The iconic W12 engine saw its final production in 2024, and the first fully electric Bentley — a luxury urban SUV under five meters in length — is set to debut in 2026. While not officially confirmed, the vehicle is expected to be built on the PPE platform co-developed by Porsche and Audi. From that point on, Bentley plans to introduce a new PHEV or BEV model every year through 2035.

Meanwhile, Bentley’s production operations continue to evolve. The Crewe factory has operated on 100% green energy since 2017 and achieved verified carbon neutrality for the fifth consecutive year in 2024. Digital transformation has reached even the most artisanal processes — the company deployed AI-powered leather inspection systems that significantly reduce waste and optimize material use.

People and innovation remain central to Bentley’s mission. In 2024, the brand advanced its Dream Factory transformation, updating three key production centers and launching a five-year reskilling program. Focused on electrification, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing techniques, the initiative aims to deliver 10,000 learning outcomes by 2027.

Beyond operations, Bentley reaffirmed its social responsibility. In 2024, over €2 million was donated to charitable efforts through the Advancing Life Chances program and the Environmental Foundation.

All of this reflects Bentley’s ambition not only to keep pace with the future, but to define it — through craftsmanship, innovation, and a conscious rethinking of what luxury can mean.
