Toyota has introduced the 2026 bZ Woodland, a 375-hp all-electric SUV with AWD, 281-mile EPA range and NACS charging. Explore full specs and details.

Toyota is expanding its all-electric lineup with a distinctly practical twist. The new 2026 bZ Woodland arrives as the most powerful and most rugged member of the bZ family, blending battery-electric performance with genuine SUV versatility.

The model is expected to reach U.S. dealerships in March 2026. At its core is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined 375 horsepower. According to Toyota’s estimates, the Woodland can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, making it the quickest bZ variant to date. Despite its performance focus, utility remains central: ground clearance stands at 8.4 inches, and towing capacity reaches up to 3,500 pounds.

EPA-estimated driving range is rated at up to 281 miles. With optional all-terrain tires, that figure drops to 260 miles. The 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery supports DC fast charging, allowing a 10 to 80 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes under ideal conditions. A key addition is the inclusion of a NACS charging port, providing access to a broad charging network across the United States. For home charging, an 11-kW onboard charger and a dual-voltage 120V/240V cable come standard.

The bZ Woodland is built on Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA electric platform, previously used in the bZ family. The battery pack is mounted under the floor, lowering the center of gravity and contributing to structural rigidity. Additional cross-framing enhances overall stability.

Visually, the Woodland distinguishes itself from the standard bZ with nearly six inches of additional length and a slightly taller rear profile. Black overfenders, standard roof rails, and 18-inch wheels with aero covers reinforce its outdoor-oriented character. Cargo capacity increases as well, offering up to 74.3 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat.

Inside, a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen serves as the centerpiece. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility come standard, along with dual Qi wireless chargers, Digital Key capability, and connected service features. The Premium grade adds a nine-speaker JBL audio system, a panoramic fixed-glass roof, ventilated front seats, and driver memory functions.

Safety is handled by Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and additional driver-support technologies. Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Safe Exit Alert are also standard.

Pricing for the 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland starts at $45,300 in the United States, excluding dealer processing fees. The traction battery is covered by an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty.

As part of Toyota’s expanding electrified portfolio in North America, the bZ Woodland signals a clear effort to combine everyday usability with enhanced charging accessibility through NACS integration, positioning it squarely within the competitive midsize electric SUV segment.
