A 1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT has surfaced on Bring a Trailer, presenting one of the most recognizable supercars of the 1990s in its all-wheel-drive Viscous Traction specification. Finished in black over a Nero interior with red piping, the car is offered by a California dealer as part of the Wob Lambo Combo collection.

The VT variant holds particular significance in the Diablo lineage. It introduced Lamborghini’s Viscous Traction all-wheel-drive system, marking an important technological step for the model. Power comes from a 5.7-liter V12 factory rated at 492 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission and front and rear limited-slip differentials.

This example shows 19,000 kilometers (approximately 12,000 miles), a notably low figure for a three-decade-old supercar. In December 2024, the spark plugs and oxygen sensors were replaced, engine oil and coolant were changed, and the transmission fluid was serviced. The air conditioning system was also recharged during the same period.

Inside, fixed-back bucket seats, a traditional gated shifter, and automatic climate control define the cockpit. An aftermarket Kenwood audio system with Focal speakers and JL Audio amplifiers has also been installed.

One notable detail concerns emissions compliance. The listing states that the car has not passed a California emissions inspection. In California, smog inspections are required for most gasoline-powered vehicles newer than the 1975 model year, making emissions certification a potential consideration for buyers.

Given the VT’s historical importance within the Diablo range, its low indicated mileage, and the documented recent service, the car stands out in the current auction lineup.
