Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled its latest unique creation — the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy, a striking one-of-one based on the Black Badge Cullinan Series II. This bespoke vehicle embodies resilience and perseverance, drawing direct inspiration from nature. The idea for this commission was born on the client’s favorite hiking trail in the High Tatras mountains, where a field of daisies offers a place of inspiration and peace.

The client, who built a successful career in the outdoor and adventure equipment industry, envisioned the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy as a reflection of their personal philosophy — balancing strength with serenity. This vision guided the creative process led by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Design team. Martina Starke, General Manager of Bespoke Design, noted that the challenge was to translate natural motifs through craftsmanship and materiality while maintaining restraint and symbolism, using unexpected textures and a refined palette.

The exterior of the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy strikes a delicate balance between subtlety and power. The Powder Blue bodywork provides a striking contrast to the darkened Black Badge Pantheon Grille, Spirit of Ecstasy, and exterior brightwork. A hand-painted daisy motif delicately adorns the single Coachline, adding a poetic touch to the vehicle’s profile.

Inside, the daisy motif continues across the front fascia and the waterfall section between the rear seats. Thanks to an innovative sandblasting technique on Blackwood veneer — where fine mineral particles precisely etch away microscopic layers — a three-dimensional effect is created, playing with light and shadow. Fleet Blue is the dominant color for the leather upholstery, extending to the Rotary Controls and the B and C pillars, complemented by Selby Grey and Black leathers. Fleet Blue seat piping and Selby Grey contrast stitching and monograms complete the elegant palette.

Illuminated treadplates featuring the daisy design and bespoke umbrellas with hidden floral patterns further enhance the narrative of walking through a blooming field on a rainy day. The daisy motif decorates the inside of the umbrellas, creating a playful surprise for those who discover it.

The Bespoke Starlight Headliner adds a celestial dimension, depicting four major northern constellations — Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Gemini, and Taurus. Details such as the North Star in Ursa Minor, the twin stars Castor and Pollux in Gemini, and the red giant Aldebaran alongside the Pleiades cluster in Taurus bring the vastness of the night sky into the cabin.

The vehicle is completed with a Recreation Module — an automatically deployable storage unit mounted on the luggage compartment floor, designed to house hiking equipment and underscore the owner's passion for exploration.

At this time, Rolls-Royce has not announced any public displays or events for the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy. However, the brand’s growing focus on nature-inspired Bespoke projects, such as the Phantom Cherry Blossom and the Spirit of Expression collection, suggests that personalized creations reflecting owners’ personal values will remain a strong trend for the future.

The Black Badge Cullinan Daisy has a combined CO₂ emission rate of 380–363 g/km and a fuel consumption of 16.8–17.7 mpg (16.8–16.0 l/100 km), according to WLTP figures.
