A 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO has gone live on Bring a Trailer, and the format of the sale immediately raises the stakes. The car is offered without reserve, an unusual move for a limited-production model carrying the GTO badge. Bidding has already reached $650,000 with ten days remaining.

This example is one of 599 units produced worldwide, with approximately 125 allocated to the United States. Chassis 177253 was delivered new through Ferrari of Silicon Valley in California, later exported to Canada, and has since returned to the U.S. It shows 15,000 miles, carries a clean Carfax report, and is accompanied by a Ferrari Classiche Red Book confirming conformity with factory specifications.

The 599 GTO occupies a distinctive place in Ferrari’s modern history. Introduced in 2010, it became only the third Ferrari to wear the GTO designation after the 250 GTO and 288 GTO. Conceived as a road-going evolution of the track-only 599XX, it was described at launch as the fastest road-going Ferrari of its time. Ferrari quoted a Fiorano lap time of 1:24, one second quicker than the Enzo.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter F140 V12 rated at 656 horsepower and 459 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed F1 SuperFast automated gearbox noted for extremely rapid shift times. According to the seller, it is one of four U.S.-market cars delivered in this livery. Carbon-fiber aerodynamic elements, carbon-ceramic brakes, forged 20-inch wheels, and Daytona-style carbon bucket seats complete the package.

Recent servicing is detailed in the listing. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires were installed in July 2025, upper ball joints replaced in October 2025, and additional maintenance included oxygen sensors and fluid services.
