For a model limited to only 112 examples, the renewed attention underlines the sustained demand for this modern reinterpretation of one of the brand’s most iconic nameplates.

The contemporary Countach was unveiled in August 2021 at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. Lamborghini made the symbolism explicit: the production run of 112 cars references the internal project code LP112, used in the early 1970s during the development of the original Countach. That first-generation model, produced from 1974 to 1990 and previewed as the LP500 prototype at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, became a defining symbol of wedge-shaped supercar design.

The LPI 800-4 goes beyond visual nostalgia. It combines a carbon-fiber monocoque with a hybrid architecture related to the Sián FKP 37. A naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 produces 770 horsepower, while a 48-volt electric motor integrated into the seven-speed ISR transmission contributes an additional 34 horsepower. Total output is rated at 814 hp (599 kW). Instead of a conventional lithium-ion battery, the system uses a supercapacitor, a solution Lamborghini previously introduced on the Sián, citing higher power density and lower weight compared to traditional battery systems.

Performance figures match its positioning: 0–100 km/h takes about 2.8 seconds, while top speed is cited between 350 and 355 km/h in published specifications. Combined with all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering, and carbon-ceramic brakes, the Countach LPI 800-4 stands as a thoroughly modern supercar despite its heritage-inspired silhouette.

The example currently offered is finished in the Ad Personam shade Oro Eleos. Lamborghini’s personalization program allows clients to select bespoke colors, materials, and trim combinations, and this car features extensive gold accents, unique stitching, and a “1 di 112” designation inside the cabin. All 112 units were reportedly sold less than a week after the model’s debut, with an original price tag of approximately $2.64 million. Secondary market activity has since demonstrated values above the two-million-dollar mark. In May 2024, one example sold at RM Sotheby’s Monaco for €2,001,875 (over $2.15 million at the time).
