Hyundai unveils IONIQ 9 with class-leading interior and long range

Hyundai's IONIQ 9 campaign showcases a futuristic EV with roomy interior, advanced tech, and U.S. production. Features include 335-mile range and sci-fi visuals.
Hyundai is ushering in a new era of electric mobility promotion with its sweeping “Space to Connect” campaign, placing the spotlight on the all-new IONIQ 9 — the brand’s first three-row electric SUV. But the focus isn’t solely on technical specs; it's about the experience the vehicle creates for its passengers.
The campaign’s centerpiece ad, “Hello, Space,” portrays the IONIQ 9 as a space that brings people together — for road trips, remote work, or a moment of quiet on the go. Visually, it transports viewers to a sci-fi-inspired world with Mars-like landscapes and a “day for night” filming technique that adds a cinematic, futuristic layer. A companion ad, “Inner Space,” emphasizes the vehicle’s interior tech and range capabilities.
Created by INNOCEAN USA with media placements orchestrated by Canvas, the campaign spans far and wide. Ads will appear during NBA and NHL playoff broadcasts, across streaming platforms like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon, and in audio formats via Spotify, SiriusXM, and others.
The IONIQ 9 lives up to the anticipation. With up to 335 miles of range (RWD S trim) and seating for seven, the model is as practical as it is refined. Its interior makes use of recycled materials and is thoughtfully designed to function as a comfort zone for all passengers. Notably, second-row seats rotate, and the central console slides for added flexibility.
Manufactured at Hyundai’s Metaplant in Georgia, the IONIQ 9 qualifies for the $7,500 U.S. federal EV tax credit, thanks to its domestic assembly and component sourcing.
Amid rising interest in full-size electric SUVs, Hyundai’s approach blends utility with emotional connectivity. Compared to rivals like the Tesla Model X, Rivian R1S, and Kia EV9, the IONIQ 9 may not lead on raw power, but it stands out in cabin space and family-friendly adaptability — a unique value proposition in a competitive field.
