A 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB configured with the Assetto Fiorano package has appeared on the Bring a Trailer auction platform, highlighting one of the most track-focused versions of Ferrari’s modern hybrid supercar. At the time of writing, bidding has reached $202,000, with the auction scheduled to end on March 9.

The particular example stands out primarily because of its configuration. According to the seller, the car was ordered with nearly $200,000 in optional equipment, bringing the original MSRP to about $516,801. Such heavily optioned specifications make this car notable even among other Ferrari 296 GTB listings that regularly appear on the secondary market.

Ferrari introduced the 296 model line for the 2022 model year. The car marked an important milestone for the brand, as it became the first Ferrari-badged road model powered by a six-cylinder engine. Its powertrain combines a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged F163 V6 with an MGU-K electric motor. Together they produce a combined output of 819 horsepower delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Electrical energy is stored in a 7.45-kWh battery mounted beneath the cabin floor behind the seats.

The seller also notes that the entire body is covered in paint-protection film (PPF), which may cause higher readings when measured with a paint thickness gauge.

The seller further states that the car’s original in-service date was December 1, 2022, and that the vehicle benefits from an extended factory warranty along with Ferrari’s seven-year scheduled maintenance program, which is tied to the initial delivery date.
