American Honda reported 108,162 vehicles sold in February 2026, led by strong SUV demand and record hybrid sales including CR-V, Accord, Civic and the new Prelude hybrid.

American Honda reported its February 2026 sales results, posting steady growth despite a series of severe winter storms in the northeastern United States. The company sold 108,162 vehicles during the month, an increase of 1.1% compared with the same period last year, supported by balanced demand across SUVs, passenger cars and hybrid models.

Year-to-date sales for American Honda reached 206,756 vehicles, up 1.5%. Passenger cars played an important role in the increase, with sales rising 11.3% to a total of 62,843 units so far in 2026.

The Honda brand accounted for the majority of the February volume with 97,226 vehicles sold. Within the lineup, demand for electrified versions stood out. Honda recorded an all-time February record of 30,671 hybrid-electric vehicles, driven by the CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid and Civic Hybrid, along with the newly introduced Prelude hybrid sports coupe.

Passenger cars continued to play a meaningful role in the brand’s portfolio. Honda sold 29,490 sedans in February, an increase of 8.9% year over year. The Civic led the segment with more than 18,000 units, while the Accord followed with nearly 11,000 vehicles delivered.

In the SUV segment, the Honda CR-V remained the central pillar of the lineup with 31,625 units sold during the month. The model also holds a significant place in the brand’s global portfolio: according to Honda, cumulative worldwide sales of the CR-V have surpassed 15 million vehicles, with the model sold in roughly 150 countries.

Other SUVs also contributed to the overall results. The updated Pilot recorded a strong month with 10,460 vehicles, while the HR-V approached the 10,000-unit mark. The Passport achieved its best February ever at 4,746 units, with the off-road-focused TrailSport versions accounting for more than 80% of the model mix.

Additional models added to the total as well. The Odyssey minivan reached 5,879 sales, and the Ridgeline pickup recorded 3,976 units during the month.

The premium Acura brand also delivered a strong performance, posting its best February result in five years. Acura sales totaled 10,936 vehicles, an increase of more than 17% year over year. SUVs accounted for most of that growth, exceeding 8,800 units, up 17.5%.

The Acura MDX remained the brand’s top-selling model with 3,670 vehicles sold in February. At the same time, gateway models continued attracting new buyers to the brand, including the compact SUV ADX, which reached 2,830 sales, and the sporty Integra, which posted 1,785 units.

Overall, February results illustrate the resilience of Honda’s core models even under challenging winter conditions, while record hybrid sales suggest that electrified versions are increasingly becoming one of the main growth drivers for the brand.
