At the Electric Awards 2025, hosted by BBC Top Gear, the Polestar 3 was named Best Electric SUV of the Year. The magazine praised the model’s innovative technology, sleek design, and practical usability. Reviewers highlighted its refined driving experience, user-friendly interface, and thoughtful ergonomics. Recognition from one of the UK’s most respected automotive publications marks a significant milestone for the brand’s global presence.

Simultaneously, Australian outlet Chasing Cars awarded the Polestar 3 the title of Luxury Car of the Year. According to the judges, the electric SUV exceeds expectations, offering one of the most compelling interpretations of modern luxury in its class. Equally critical to the model’s recognition are its safety credentials. In April 2025, Euro NCAP granted the Polestar 3 a full five-star rating. Most notably, the SUV achieved 93% in child occupant protection—the highest score of any vehicle tested by the agency in the past nine years. Additional ratings included 90% for adult protection, 79% for vulnerable road users, and 83% for safety assist systems.

Coinciding with these achievements, Polestar introduced a new Long Range Single Motor version of the SUV. Priced from €74,590 in Germany, this rear-wheel-drive model delivers 220 kW of power and a range of up to 563 km (EPA), making it an attractive option for drivers seeking both efficiency and value.
