Bentley Blower Jnr starts production following Jersey trials

Bentley Blower Jnr, a road-legal 85% scale electric tribute to the 1929 Blower, enters production after 650-mile Jersey test drive. Only 349 to be made.
In the scenic lanes of Jersey, where the island-wide speed limit is just 40 mph, the Bentley Blower Jnr has completed its final proving run. Now, this 85% scale electric tribute to the legendary 1929 Bentley Blower has officially entered production.
Created by Hedley Studios in partnership with Bentley Motors, the Blower Jnr is more than a nostalgic nod. It’s a precisely engineered, road-legal reinterpretation of one of the most iconic British cars. Based on the original Team Car #2 — insured for £25 million — this scaled recreation is built with obsessive attention to detail, measuring 3.7 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. At first glance, even seasoned enthusiasts might mistake it for the original.
The final stage of testing involved 650 miles of real-world driving on Jersey’s winding coastal roads. Over three days, teams from Hedley Studios and Bentley, along with international journalists, assessed the car’s drivability, character and craftsmanship. The feedback confirmed what designers had hoped: Blower Jnr delivers not just in performance, but in evoking the soul of the 1929 classic.
Powered by a 48-volt electric motor with 15 kW (20 bhp), the Blower Jnr reaches a top speed of 45 mph (72 km/h in the UK and EU). With a range of around 65 miles (105 km), it's tailored for leisurely city drives and stylish countryside cruising — not speed, but experience.
Production will be strictly limited to just 349 examples. Each car is handcrafted and fully customisable via Hedley Studios’ online configurator. Buyers can choose everything from bespoke paint finishes to racing numbers and style packs inspired by Bentley’s storied past. The base price starts at around £90,000, with the First Edition priced at £108,000.
This is also Hedley Studios’ first fully road-legal model. While the company is known for collectible electric miniatures, the Blower Jnr marks a new chapter — a small car with serious intent. Crafted using the same artisanal methods as full-size Bentleys, it features hand-beaten aluminium, leather bonnet straps, and a dashboard of engine-turned aluminium that mimics the original layout. Even the drive mode selector mimics the original fuel pressurisation pump.
Customer deliveries are set to begin in the coming months. For collectors and city drivers with a taste for heritage, the Blower Jnr is shaping up to be one of the most distinctive electric vehicles on the road.
