Mercedes-AMG GLE and GLS debut in exclusive Arctic Silver edition

Mercedes-AMG launches the limited Arctic Silver edition of GLE and GLS SUVs with a matte silver finish, black-red accents, and premium interior. Only 450 units.

Mercedes-AMG has unveiled a new limited-run edition of its flagship SUVs — the GLE and GLS — under the name MANUFAKTUR Arctic Silver edition. Only 450 units will be produced globally, with orders now open and deliveries scheduled to begin in July 2025.

This special series is distinguished by a striking new matte body finish in high-tech silver magno, marking the first time this exclusive AMG MANUFAKTUR paint has been applied. The design is accentuated with contrasting black and red elements, including multi-spoke forged wheels — 22 inches on the GLE and 23 inches on the GLS — finished in matte black and edged in vivid red. Red brake callipers add further visual punch.

The AMG Night Package complements the look with gloss black accents on the bumpers, mirror housings, and side skirts. Dark chrome tailpipes, black roof rails, and heat-insulating tinted rear windows reinforce the car’s dynamic presence.

Inside, the black-and-red theme continues with AMG MANUFAKTUR Carmine Red / Black Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery, adorned with diamond quilting. AMG logos are embossed on the front headrests, and a bright chrome edition badge is mounted on the passenger side dashboard. The interior further stands out with carbon trim stitched in red — not available on any other AMG — along with a red leather AMG Performance steering wheel and red-accented AMG floor mats.

From a performance perspective, the Arctic Silver edition maintains AMG’s high standards. Powertrains include a range of 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged mild and plug-in hybrids, as well as the iconic 4.0-litre V8 biturbo. All versions come equipped with AMG’s fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system for superior grip and versatility.

Pricing details have not yet been disclosed, nor has the allocation breakdown by region. However, given the blend of visual exclusivity and limited availability, the Arctic Silver edition is poised to attract both collectors and long-time AMG enthusiasts.
