McLaren celebrates 30th Le Mans anniversary with limited 750S Le Mans edition

McLaren launches 750S Le Mans to honour 1995 Le Mans win. Limited to 50 units, it features MSO HDK, special livery, and historic design details.
To mark three decades since one of the most iconic moments in its racing history, McLaren has unveiled the 750S Le Mans – a limited-run homage to the legendary 1995 victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only 50 units of this exclusive supercar will be produced globally, each infused with visual and technical elements that reflect its celebrated heritage.
On June 18, 1995, McLaren made its debut at Le Mans – and won. Car #59, driven by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya, conquered one of the rainiest editions in the race’s history, securing not only victory but also McLaren’s unique status as the only marque to win motorsport’s so-called Triple Crown: the Monaco Grand Prix, the Indianapolis 500, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The 750S Le Mans celebrates this legacy with carefully curated design cues and technical upgrades. It comes finished in either Le Mans Grey or McLaren Orange – the former directly referencing the victorious F1 GTR. The unmistakable roof scoop, 5-spoke LM wheels, and detailed Le Mans badging reinforce the tribute, while an exclusive plaque inside each cabin denotes its special-edition status.
Central to this edition is the MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK), developed by McLaren Special Operations. Comprising an enlarged front splitter, a roof scoop, and an extended carbon-fibre active rear wing with integral endplates, the HDK elevates aerodynamic performance by 10% compared to the standard 750S. These enhancements echo the track-focused ethos of the original F1 LM and are engineered to improve high-speed handling and downforce.
Inside, buyers can choose between two bespoke interior combinations: Carbon Black Alcantara with Dove Grey or McLaren Orange accents. Each cabin features Le Mans-embossed headrests and floor mats, adding subtle nods to the racing legacy. Optional extras, such as a commemorative track record plaque listing McLaren’s 1995 Le Mans win and Triple Crown achievements, deepen the collector appeal.
The release of the 750S Le Mans coincides with McLaren’s active involvement in GT endurance racing. Two McLaren GT3 EVOs, based on the 750S, are set to compete at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Furthermore, the brand has confirmed its return to the top-tier Hypercar class in 2027, a move that positions the 750S Le Mans not only as a commemorative model, but also as a symbolic bridge toward McLaren’s next competitive chapter.
As with previous Le Mans editions – including the 650S and 720S – collector interest is expected to be intense. Previous models have commanded premiums at auctions, and with only 50 examples, the 750S Le Mans is poised to become a highly prized asset for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
