Valkyrie LM Delivers Le Mans Racing to Aston Martin Clients

Aston Martin Valkyrie LM: Track Hypercar from Le Mans Tech

Aston Martin launches Valkyrie LM, a 10-unit hypercar based on its Le Mans entry, with V12 power and exclusive driver training programme for clients.

Aston Martin has lifted the veil on the Valkyrie LM, a car that blurs the line between road-derived hypercar and full-blown endurance racer. Strictly limited to just 10 units, this non-homologated machine brings the essence of top-tier motorsport to a select group of private owners — with very few compromises.

At its core lies the same 6.5-litre naturally aspirated Cosworth V12 that powers Aston Martin’s official WEC and IMSA contender. Delivering 697bhp, the engine has been recalibrated for accessible race fuel, but otherwise retains its raw, lean-burn nature. Crucially, the LM drops the ballast, closed-loop torque control, and FIA-mandated electronics, resulting in a driving character that’s both approachable and authentic.

The chassis setup includes pushrod-actuated suspension, adjustable torsion bars, and a seven-speed sequential gearbox operated via paddle shifts — race engineering through and through. Custom Pirelli tyres and a cockpit stripped for purpose complete the package: carbon seat, six-point harness, fire suppression, and a wheel-integrated driver display reinforce that this car means business.

But Valkyrie LM isn't just about performance specs. Aston Martin offers a holistic driver development programme to go with it — encompassing simulator sessions, track walks, classroom instruction, and multiple on-track experiences. Owners won’t be left to manage these cars solo. Instead, they’ll be supported by the same factory team that preps the race versions, with the cars stored, transported, and maintained by Aston Martin itself.

Customers will receive their cars in Q2 2026, followed by two additional track events under the UNLEASHED club programme and a finale event at Aston Martin’s Gaydon HQ in December. Full race gear, one-on-one coaching, and a fully managed ‘fly-in-and-drive’ experience round out what is likely to be the brand’s most immersive ownership offering yet.

With Valkyrie LM, Aston Martin brings its Le Mans ambition not only to the racetrack but into the hands of private enthusiasts. It's not a collector’s ornament — it’s a weaponised track machine, tuned by the very team that competes at the highest levels of endurance racing. This is as close as it gets to racing without a competition license.
