On June 16, Audi will unveil the third generation of its Q3 compact SUV — a highly anticipated release in the premium segment. With over two million units sold worldwide since its debut, the Q3 has become a mainstay in the brand’s lineup.

This new generation isn’t just an update; it marks a strategic renewal. As CEO Gernot Döllner explains, the model represents a major pillar in Audi’s product initiative — signaling not just evolution but ambition in the compact premium class.

Visually, the updated Q3 takes on a bolder look. The signature Singleframe grille has grown wider and more assertive, while the LED headlights have become sharper and more refined. These design updates aim to set the Q3 apart from rivals like the BMW X1 and Volvo XC40.

Inside, the Q3 steps confidently into the digital era. A fully digital Virtual Cockpit and touchscreen infotainment system come standard, while advanced driver assistance features — including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a surround-view camera — underline Audi’s tech focus.

Under the hood, buyers can expect a range of petrol and diesel options, including mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants. The most powerful PHEV version is expected to deliver up to 245 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Both front-wheel drive and quattro all-wheel drive versions will be available.

Production will take place in both Hungary and Germany, highlighting Audi’s continued investment in European manufacturing. Pre-orders are expected to begin shortly after the reveal.
