Mansory’s Radical Tesla Cybertruck Elongation: Carbon Fiber Redefined

German tuning house Mansory, known for its bold and often provocative modifications of premium-class vehicles, has introduced its own take on the Tesla Cybertruck, dubbed Mansory Elongation. This project goes far beyond conventional upgrades, transforming the angular pickup into a futuristic art piece dominated by carbon fiber and neon accents.

Mansory has once again relied on its signature forged carbon fiber, using it to craft new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned hood, widened fenders, and extended side skirts. This isn’t just a design choice—carbon fiber can reduce weight, although the impact might be counterbalanced by the vehicle’s significantly increased dimensions. Additional LED lights now adorn the roof, while a decorative panel on the rear pillar mimics an air intake.

Inside the Mansory Elongation, black leather meets neon highlights in an extravagant combination. Seats and door panels are reupholstered with striking green accents, while the pedals are finished in the same forged carbon as the exterior components. The steering wheel has also been redesigned with a sportier shape, enhanced ergonomics, and contrasting green stitching.

Mansory is known for making more than just aesthetic changes, but this time, there’s no official information regarding the impact on performance, handling, or driving range. However, it’s reasonable to assume that the added weight from the carbon panels, along with 26-inch wheels, might negatively affect aerodynamics and efficiency.

Mansory isn’t the only company modifying the Cybertruck. Unplugged Performance showcased 12 customized Cybertruck builds at SEMA 2024, offering various off-road and performance upgrades. Meanwhile, Forgiato Wheels has gone for a stealthy black-on-black look with massive gloss-finish rims.

The Mansory Elongation is clearly targeted at a niche audience willing to pay a premium for exclusivity and brand prestige. While questions remain about the practical implications of these modifications, one thing is certain—this Cybertruck will turn heads wherever it goes.
