Aston Martin Vantage GT3 triumphs across four legendary races

Aston Martin Vantage GT3 wins IMSA, British GT, Nürburgring 24h and Pikes Peak, confirming its strength across global racing arenas.
Aston Martin has made a resounding statement across the motorsport world, proving that the Vantage platform is more than just a striking silhouette—it's a true all-terrain race contender. In June 2025, the British marque delivered standout performances across four iconic arenas: IMSA, British GT, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and the legendary Pikes Peak hill climb.
At Watkins Glen in the U.S., The Heart of Racing stole the show with a dramatic last-minute triumph in the IMSA six-hour race. When the leading Lexus ran out of fuel on the final lap, Tom Gamble seized the moment, bringing home the crew’s first victory of the season. The race, marked by rain, nine full-course yellows, and relentless reshuffles, required more than just pace—it demanded strategy. Fuel management turned out to be the defining factor, and Gamble, along with teammates Zach Robichon and Casper Stevenson, claimed their maiden IMSA win in style.
Across the Atlantic, it was Jonny Adam’s weekend to remember. At Spa, he notched up his 20th British GT win, becoming the most successful driver in the championship’s history. Sharing the car with Giacamo Petrobelli, their dominant performance secured a first-ever victory for the Blackthorn team—and for the latest-generation Vantage GT3 in the series. Beachdean Motorsport also celebrated success, taking the Silver Am class win with Andrew Howard and Tom Wood.
On the Nürburgring circuit, Aston Martin’s partners impressed once again. PROsport Racing finished seventh overall and second in SP9 Pro-Am, marking the team’s best-ever result. Walkenhorst Motorsport looked poised for a podium with their factory-backed #34 entry before technical issues struck. Their sister car, however, delivered a second-place finish in SP9 Am, ensuring another class podium for the brand.
Then came the ascent—literally. In its first serious attempt at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a specially prepared Vantage GT4 secured a class win. Event rookie Stephen Wetterau dominated the GT4 Trophy by Yokohama, beating his closest rival by ten seconds and finishing 27th overall among much more powerful machinery. A debut that speaks volumes.
This wasn’t just a successful weekend—it was a showcase. Four events, four formats, and Aston Martin stood tall in each. Far from a lucky streak, these results underscore the maturity of the Vantage platform across disciplines. With major stages of the season still ahead, the brand from Gaydon is sending a clear message: it's here to compete—and win—where it counts.
