Bentley Motors enters India with SAVWIPL and opens new Design Studio in Crewe, underlining its Beyond100+ vision for luxury and electrification.

Bentley Motors is entering a new phase of growth in one of the world’s most dynamic markets — India. From July 1, 2025, the iconic British marque will officially operate under Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL). This strategic step gives Bentley direct access to a robust distribution and aftersales network already proven with brands like Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini.

In its first phase, Bentley India will focus on three major cities: Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi. These new showrooms will cater to a discerning clientele drawn to the brand’s unique blend of luxury, craftsmanship, and performance. Leading this ambitious journey is Abbey Thomas, an industry professional with years of experience across the Volkswagen Group and other premium automakers.

This India launch aligns seamlessly with Bentley’s wider Beyond100+ vision, which saw another milestone this year with the official opening of its new Design Studio in Crewe. The transformation of the historic Front of House building, first laid down in 1939, and the creation of a cutting-edge studio bringing together exterior, interior, Mulliner, and UX/UI designers, shows how Bentley honours its heritage while driving forward into an electrified future.

With Bentley’s plan to go fully electric by 2035, all eyes are on how the marque will introduce hybrids and future EVs in India, where charging infrastructure is still unevenly developed. What is certain is that the long-term partnership with SAVWIPL provides a strong foundation for steady expansion.

India joins Bentley’s expanding global map alongside new moves in North America, China, and new dealerships in Eastern Europe. It’s a clear sign that Bentley remains committed to staying close to its customers — wherever they may be.
