Skoda presented the Peaq, its largest electric SUV with up to seven seats, long range and new technology. Explore key details and what sets this model apart.

Škoda is preparing the largest car in its history — the new flagship SUV Peaq, measuring nearly 5 meters in length, designed for up to seven passengers and built on the electric MEB platform. Even at the prototype stage, the model clearly shows where the brand is heading: more space, more technology, and a focus on long-distance family travel.

Peaq positions itself as an electric alternative to the Kodiaq, while still preserving choice. Customers can continue to opt for a traditional combustion-engine SUV, while Peaq fills the segment of full-size electric crossovers. This is a significant step, as Škoda has not previously offered a large three-row EV in its lineup.

The primary focus is on space. The vehicle is designed to accommodate seven occupants without compromising comfort, even in the third row, while the luggage capacity is among the largest in the range. In the five-seat configuration, it reaches 1,010 litres, and a 37-litre front trunk adds extra practicality. The extended wheelbase and MEB architecture, with the battery integrated into the floor, allow for efficient use of interior space.

The technological aspect elevates the model to a new level for the brand. The interior includes massage seats, a Sonos audio system, an augmented reality head-up display, and new software. For the first time in a Škoda model, flush door handles and washer nozzles integrated into the wiper arms are introduced. A panoramic roof with electrochromic glass further enhances comfort-oriented features.

Peaq will be available in several versions with different power outputs ranging from 150 to 220 kW, including an all-wheel-drive option. According to preliminary data, the driving range exceeds 460 km in the base version and can surpass 600 km in higher configurations. Fast charging of up to 200 kW allows the battery to be replenished from 10 to 80% in approximately 30 minutes, supporting its role as a long-distance family vehicle.

The model is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, already used in several electric vehicles across the group, offering flexibility for both single- and dual-motor configurations. This also enables the use of larger batteries while maintaining a spacious interior.

Peaq evolves from the Vision 7S concept and serves as its production continuation, introducing the new Modern Solid design language. Within the brand’s lineup, it will be positioned above the Enyaq and will become the new flagship model.

The global premiere is expected in summer 2026, with sales planned for 2027. Preliminary estimates suggest a starting price of around €48,000–50,000, placing Peaq in the segment of large family electric SUVs alongside models such as the Kia EV9 and Peugeot E-5008.
