Skoda Summarises 2025 with New Models, Concepts and Anniversaries
Skoda Storyboard reviews the brand’s 2025 highlights, including new models, electric concepts, student projects and key anniversaries presented during the year.
For Skoda, 2025 unfolded as a year of momentum and contrast, combining major premieres, anniversary milestones, experimental concepts, and a renewed focus on storytelling. Through its Skoda Storyboard platform, the brand looked back on twelve months that reflected not only product development but also broader shifts in design, technology, and mobility culture.
New models were at the heart of the year’s narrative. Early on, Skoda unveiled the updated Enyaq, further strengthening its position in the electric vehicle lineup. The model range expanded with multiple drivetrain configurations, battery options, and enhanced digital features, including remote parking functions and high-power DC charging. These updates reinforced the Enyaq’s role as a technological reference point within the brand.
Later in the year, attention turned to the Skoda Vision O concept. Revealed as an electric vision of the estate car, the study focused on design language rather than specifications. Vision O showcased the Modern Solid approach and highlighted Skoda’s intention to rethink a body style that has long been central to its identity, without committing to technical figures or production timelines.
Alongside these premieres, Skoda introduced the Fabia 130, a sporty special edition that continued the brand’s tradition of commemorative models. Electrification also remained a key theme with the arrival of the new Elroq, presented in several forms. The range included the performance-oriented Elroq RS and the Elroq Respectline concept, the latter serving as a visual statement reflecting Skoda’s emphasis on respect, diversity, and shared values.
Education and experimentation played a visible role as well. Students from the Skoda Auto Vocational School presented the L&K 130, a unique vehicle based on the Superb Combi. Designed as a support car for cycling events, it became the first Student Car to use a plug-in hybrid powertrain and featured extensive body modifications tailored to race logistics, underlining Skoda’s long-standing ties to professional cycling, including the Tour de France.
Anniversaries framed much of the year’s storytelling. Skoda marked 130 years since its founding, while the iconic 130 RS celebrated its 50th anniversary. Archival research and museum features revisited early Laurin & Klement vehicles, historic rally successes, and lesser-known episodes from the company’s past, connecting today’s models with decades of motorsport and engineering heritage.
Beyond products and history, experience-driven content rounded out the year. Long-distance journeys, European road routes, technical explainers, and appearances at international events such as Milan Design Week emphasized mobility as something to be lived and explored. Together, these elements shaped a portrait of 2025 as a year in which Skoda combined innovation, reflection, and experimentation, setting the tone for what lies ahead.
