Stellantis is set to make a big statement at the 2026 Chicago Auto Show. From February 7–16 at McCormick Place, the company will bring together several of its brands—Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo and FIAT—and lean on both premieres and hands-on attractions to pull visitors in.
The core message is variety across powertrains, from traditional gas performance to electrified options. Jeep arrives with a clear anniversary spotlight: 2026 marks the brand’s 85th year, and Stellantis says the stand will feature key launches and updates. That includes a new Cherokee with a 1.6-liter turbo-four hybrid (with an estimated 37 mpg combined and an estimated 500-plus miles to a tank), the fully electric Recon (with a stated starting MSRP of $65,000, 650 horsepower, 620 lb.-ft. of torque, 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds and an estimated range up to 250 miles depending on trim), plus a 2026 Grand Cherokee with a new 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 Turbo and a 2026 Grand Wagoneer lineup powered by a 3.0-liter Hurricane engine with a starting price point said to be under $65,000.
Jeep is also using Chicago to keep momentum on its yearlong Twelve 4 Twelve program, which introduces a new “buzz model” Wrangler each month for a full year. Stellantis says three already revealed versions will be front and center: Wrangler Moab 392, Wrangler Whitecap and Wrangler 85th Anniversary.
Ram’s headline is the return of the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 to the 2026 Ram 1500 lineup, now paired with enhanced eTorque mild-hybrid tech (with 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque listed in the show announcement). The performance story goes further with the stated comeback of the 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX, using a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 rated at 777 horsepower and 680 lb.-ft. of torque. Stellantis also says the 2027 Ram 2500 Power Wagon will be offered for the first time with a 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output Turbo Diesel rated at 430 horsepower and 1,075 lb.-ft. of base diesel torque.
Electrification is part of Ram’s message as well. Stellantis lists the Ram 1500 REV as a range-extended electric vehicle using a 92 kWh battery pack paired with an onboard 130 kW generator, with a targeted range up to 690 miles and towing capability of 14,000 lbs.
Dodge brings its 2026 Charger in a “multi-energy” approach, presented as both gas-powered and electric. The lineup cited for Chicago includes the 550-horsepower Charger Scat Pack powered by a turbocharged SIXPACK high-output engine (with 531 lb.-ft. of torque and a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds), the AWD Charger R/T powered by a SIXPACK standard-output engine rated at 420 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. of torque (0–60 mph in 4.6 seconds), and an all-electric four-door Charger Daytona rated at 670 horsepower. Stellantis also notes that the Charger has been named the 2026 North American Car of the Year.
For maximum output on the Dodge stand, Stellantis says the supercharged, HEMI-powered Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak will be displayed, described as available in all 50 states, with more than 13 million potential customization combinations.
Chrysler adds a concept with a clear adventure theme: the Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept reimagines the minivan as an overlanding project. Stellantis describes a suspension lift compared with a Pacifica Limited AWD—2.75 inches in front and 2.5 inches in the rear—plus 31-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires on 18-inch Foreshadow wheels. Inside, the third-row seats are replaced with a large cargo floor panel intended for storage or sleeping.
On the European side of the display, Stellantis lists the 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition, framed around made-in-Italy design and work tied to FIAT’s Centro Stile studio in Turin. Alfa Romeo will show a refreshed 2026 Tonale with a redesigned front end, and Stellantis states a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 rated at 268 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard Q4 all-wheel drive.
Stellantis also ties the show to a broader commemorative theme via America250, a bipartisan organization charged by Congress to lead the commemoration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram are presented as exclusive automotive sponsors, with America250-branded displays planned, including an America250-wrapped Ram 1500 towing an Airstream trailer.
Just as important as the product list is the effort to keep visitors engaged. Camp Jeep returns to Chicago for its 21st year; it has been part of the show since 2005 and, according to the show’s information, has delivered more than 600,000 test rides. Stellantis also brings back the Chrysler Pacifica Stow ’n Go Challenge—an on-the-clock packing contest built around the Stow ’n Go seating and storage system—scheduled for February 7, 8, 14 and 15 during show hours in the Chrysler display in the South Hall.
Taken together, Stellantis is using the 2026 Chicago Auto Show as a showcase for “freedom of choice,” pairing headline-grabbing performance with hybrids, EVs and interactive experiences. If the stated specs and positioning translate convincingly on the floor and on the tracks, Chicago could become a telling snapshot of how the company intends to balance V-8 heritage with a rapidly accelerating shift toward electrification.
