Porsche presents the Cayenne Electric with global debut in Dubai
Porsche introduces the Cayenne Electric, its second all-electric SUV, during a digital premiere and public debut at the Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai.
Porsche is preparing for a milestone moment in its history with the debut of the Cayenne Electric, the brand’s second fully electric SUV. The world premiere will take place on November 19, 2025, in a digital format, followed a few days later by a live presentation at the Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai. In this way, the next chapter of the Cayenne story will begin both online and under the Middle Eastern sun.
For more than two decades, the Cayenne has been a symbol of Porsche’s versatility. It marked the beginning of the brand’s SUV era, combining performance and practicality. Now, with the switch to electric power, Porsche aims to merge what its fans value most: driving dynamics, comfort, and everyday usability — together with efficiency and long range.
The Cayenne Electric is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the same architecture used for the Macan Electric. Two electric motors deliver up to 600 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and an instant throttle response. With a battery capacity of around 100 kWh, the model can achieve a range of up to 600 kilometers (WLTP). Thanks to its 800-volt system, the battery can be charged to 80 percent in under 20 minutes.
Inside, the Cayenne Electric showcases the new Porsche Driver Experience philosophy. Three displays — for the driver, passenger, and center console — form an advanced digital cockpit enhanced with connected services and ambient lighting. Production relies on renewable energy and recycled materials, and the Bratislava plant has been integrated into Porsche’s carbon-neutral supply chain.
Drawing on technology from TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, the Cayenne Electric benefits from high-voltage expertise developed in motorsport. This ensures optimal energy management and consistent performance even under heavy load.
Analysts expect the Cayenne Electric to become one of the most successful premium electric SUVs in its class. Porsche anticipates strong demand across Europe, the United States, China, and the Middle East — regions where the Cayenne has long stood as a symbol of dynamic living.
