Vauxhall Confirms Debut at the Inaugural Manchester Motor Show
Vauxhall has announced its participation in the first Manchester Motor Show, presenting new electric models and motorsport projects, the brand confirmed.
Vauxhall has confirmed its participation in the first-ever Manchester Motor Show, scheduled for 10 January 2026 at Manchester Central Convention Complex. The new automotive event will provide a public stage for the brand’s latest models and highlight Vauxhall’s ongoing focus on electrification and motorsport.
Headlining the display will be the GSE line-up. Visitors will be able to see the new Mokka GSE, Vauxhall’s fastest all-electric production car, alongside its competition counterpart, the Mokka GSE Rally. Developed to FIA eRally5 regulations, the rally car will replace the Corsa Rally Electric as Vauxhall’s works entry in the ADAC GSE Rally Cup from the 2026 season, underlining the brand’s commitment to electric rallying.
The show will also mark the UK debut of the updated Astra and Astra Sports Tourer for the 2026 model year. First unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, the refreshed models feature a revised design with the Vauxhall Vizor and an illuminated Griffin badge, as well as an expanded powertrain range that includes fully electric variants. The Astra Electric is equipped with a new 58 kWh battery and Vehicle-to-Load capability, reinforcing its practical credentials.
Beyond passenger cars, Vauxhall will present its broader electric portfolio, including the Frontera Electric and Grandland Electric SUVs, plus the Combo Electric and Vivaro GS Van from its commercial vehicle range. Together, the line-up reflects the brand’s ambition to offer electrified options across all key segments.
Manchester Motor Show adopts an open-access format, with free entry available via prior registration and opening hours from 9 am to 5 pm. At the Vauxhall stand, visitors will find interactive attractions such as a GSE Scalextric track and a racing simulator, designed to engage audiences beyond static vehicle displays.
Vauxhall has also announced that it will reveal a new brand partnership during the event. While details remain undisclosed, the company describes the announcement as the beginning of a new chapter for the British brand, aligning with its expanding electric model range and growing presence in electric motorsport.
