Audi Q3 e-hybrid 2025: 220 kW plug-in SUV with extended electric range

The new Audi Q3 e-hybrid 2025 delivers 220 kW power and up to 119 km electric range, combining performance and efficiency in a compact premium SUV.
Audi has unveiled the third generation of its Q3 compact SUV — and with it, a clear intention to redefine standards in the premium compact class. At the center of attention is the Q3 SUV e-hybrid with 220 kW of system output: powerful, intelligent, and impressively efficient. In a time when sustainability and performance go hand in hand, Audi is pushing forward with technology that embraces both.
The new plug-in hybrid boasts an electric range of up to 119 kilometers (WLTP), almost doubling the previous generation’s capabilities. Fuel consumption is rated at just 2.2–1.7 liters per 100 km, and CO₂ emissions range between 49–39 g/km — class B by European standards. Even with the battery depleted, the Q3 manages 6.6–6.0 l/100 km, with CO₂ class E.
Under the hood, a well-integrated combustion engine and electric motor draw from a 25.7 kWh battery (19.7 kWh usable). DC charging up to 50 kW allows a 10–80% recharge in under 30 minutes — making this Q3 a highly viable option for those looking to bridge electric convenience with traditional versatility.
But numbers tell only part of the story. The exterior has grown bolder, with an assertive Singleframe grille, a redefined shoulder line, and pronounced wheel arches that echo Audi’s quattro DNA. Optional digital Matrix LED headlights, equipped with 25,600 micro-LEDs, debut in this segment — bringing premium lighting tech to the compact class. Drivers can also personalize their vehicle's lighting signature via the MMI, with up to four distinct light designs.
Inside, the transformation continues. The cabin features a curved, driver-focused digital stage with 11.9" and 12.8" displays, powered by Android Automotive OS and integrated with third-party apps like YouTube. Audi’s AI voice assistant is presented as an on-screen avatar and integrated into the head-up display.
Functionality hasn’t been forgotten: trunk capacity ranges from 488 to 1,386 liters, the rear bench slides and reclines, and acoustic front window glazing is now available — a rare feature in this class. Towing capacity reaches 2,100 kilograms, adding real-world utility.
Audi isn’t just refreshing the Q3; it’s rethinking its role in the market. The new generation goes on sale in October, with pre-orders in Germany opening this summer. Pricing for the e-hybrid starts at €49,300.
